Who says upstate NY barn weddings can only happen in the summertime? Our Love Story bride, Ashley, put a whole new meaning behind winter wonderland during her gorgeous December wedding at the Shaker Heritage Barn located in the Albany area of beautiful upstate NY.

The century-old farm property made a stunning backdrop for this bride and groom, with its white exterior façade and all the unique imperfections of its tall ceilings and wooden beam interior. This barn venue was the perfect mix of classy and carefree as the couple embraced their outdoor photoshoot amidst a fresh dusting of snow.

We love how our bride Ashley styled her look in our Ti Adora strapless corset back gown: effortless, neutral tone makeup and soft hair paired with warm winter colors in her accessories to complement the ivory lace that carries throughout this fitted dress. She braved the elements looking simply gorgeous and lit up the all-white backdrop -- the smile says it all!

Ti Adora Trunk Show Wedding Dresses Deliver Vintage Romance to the Modern Bride

Another Ti Adora trunk show has hit Love Story with many new gorgeous styles we didn't have for our September Ti Adora trunk show. Choosing trunk show pieces for this blog, we found ourselves loving some dresses with more of a vintage touch. Not only a big trend in bridal, but we’ve noticed a lot of Love Story brides are personal fans of the vintage feel.

Modern Gowns, Vintage Details

“Wren” is such a unique addition to this Ti Adora trunk show; it’s comprised of a clean line Charmeuse gown, and a sheer wrap dress with floral embroidery details. The dress alone has a sleek and sexy look, but the wrap with the flutter sleeves and English net softens the look and reminded me of a vintage dressing gown with an ethereal twist. At Love Story, we live to accessorize and playing with the multiple looks of this Ti Adora gown was so much fun for us!

Ti Adora #7558 is another beautiful piece that could work for any vintage bride or even modern bride. I am a sucker for a perfect bateau neckline so I immediately pulled this beauty off the trunk show rack! Speaking not only on style, but fit also, I believe the bateau neckline (plus the a-line silhouette) would look fantastic on all body shapes! I love the ivory lace that graces this gown from the neckline to the hem. As much as the front has a modest look to it, turn around and the low back will have everyone admiring that sexy peek-a-boo of your back. Think jewelry is too much with high neckline? Wear a vintage piece backwards so the lace frames it down your back, we did. ;)

High Necklines, Low Open Backs a Perfect Pairing

The final piece, “Daphne” has beautiful ¾ sleeves in addition to a similar neckline as the previous gown I described, a slightly different vintage approach. This dress gives you nice coverage whether it is for a seasonal wedding, or just your own comfort level.True to Ti Adora from, a little surprise back detail doesn’t leave you totally covered. “Daphne” gives the perfect balance; complimenting the open back, the deep V in front is covered with the sheer English Net. If you’re not in love with all lace, Ti Adora kept this sheer overlay with embroidered trims lining the gown.
